ASA 3D printing service
ASA has the heat resistance and toughness of ABS, plus UV stability. It keeps its color and strength in the sun, which makes it the material to pick for parts that live outdoors.
What ASA is good for
- Outdoor mounts, housings, and fixtures
- Automotive exterior parts
- Garden, marine, and RV parts
- Anything that sits in direct sunlight
ASA properties
- UV and weather resistant
- Heat tolerance to roughly 95–100 °C
- Tough, with a matte finish
Things to consider
- Fewer color options than PLA or PETG
- Large flat parts are more prone to warping than in PLA or PETG
How ordering ASA prints works
Upload an STL or 3MF and choose ASA and a color. We check the model for thin walls and unsupported overhangs, slice it against the profile of a real printer that has ASA loaded, and price it from that machine. The operator prints it, checks the part, and ships it to your door with tracking.
- Layer height 0.08 – 0.28 mm
