PLA 3D printing service
PLA is the most common 3D printing material: stiff, dimensionally accurate, and available in more colors than anything else. It is the right default for prototypes, display pieces, and parts that live indoors.
What PLA is good for
- Prototypes and fit checks
- Display models, figurines, and cosplay pieces
- Enclosures, organizers, and fixtures used at room temperature
- Parts where color and surface finish matter most
PLA properties
- High stiffness and good dimensional accuracy
- Crisp detail and a clean surface finish
- Widest range of colors
Things to consider
- Softens at around 55–60 °C, so it can deform in a hot car or in direct sun
- More brittle than PETG under impact
How ordering PLA prints works
Upload an STL or 3MF and choose PLA and a color. We check the model for thin walls and unsupported overhangs, slice it against the profile of a real printer that has PLA loaded, and price it from that machine. The operator prints it, checks the part, and ships it to your door with tracking.
